Danielle Nayes, CAM
Danielle was born in Crown Point, Indiana. She and her parents moved a few times between Florida and upstate New York, before deciding to make the move to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1994. Danielle is the oldest of three and has a younger brother and sister. Danielle’s family decided to build a log home in Livermore, CO and moved there in 1997. She finished her last year of elementary school in a small mountain school and attended Cache La Poudre Junior High in Laporte for middle school and Poudre High School in Fort Collins.
Danielle graduated from Poudre High School in 2004. Danielle had dreams of becoming a kindergarten school teacher and started at the University of Northern Colorado in Fall 2004. After two and a half semesters, she discovered the university life was not right for her and she decided to attend school part time through Front Range Community College. While attending classes part time, Danielle also worked multiple jobs part time and full time in customer service.
In 2007, Danielle gave birth to her oldest daughter as a single mother. Work and a new baby consumed Danielle’s life and school was put on the back burner. In 2008, Danielle was fortunate enough to know someone in the property management field and was asked to be the new leasing agent for an apartment complex. She fell in love with the work almost immediately. Over the course of 4.5 years, Danielle worked as a leasing agent, assistant property manager, and property manager between three apartment complexes in Fort Collins. Danielle also spent some time in the residential rental world with two different companies.
In 2010, Danielle decided to go back to school and achieve an associate’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting through IBMC. She graduated in September 2011.
Danielle met her husband late 2010 and they instantly became a blended family of 5. Danielle and her husband married in June 2013 and welcomed their youngest daughter in December 2014. Together they have four children (ages 18, 15, 15, and 8). Their kids are very active and keep the family busy with dance, cheerleading, and poms.
After a change in careers in 2013 and additional volunteer time at her kids’ schools, Danielle re-established her passion for working with children. She decided to go back to school for early childhood education with goals of opening her own in-home childcare. During this time, she also began watching a 6-month-old. She continued attending school part time, working overnights, and watching littles during the day for the next three years.
In 2017, a fellow property management colleague reached out to Danielle to offer a part time position in property management. The hours were flexible and the property management work was always something Danielle had enjoyed. She decided to explore the opportunity available through Trademark Property Management Group, Inc. Danielle began working part time with Trademark in September 2017. She acted as the office assistant and assisted with a great deal of administrative work.
Danielle decided HOA property management was a great fit for her and fell in love with the work and the people at Trademark. She decided to begin full time with the team in May 2018. Danielle achieved her CAM license in July 2018 and grew her HOA portfolio. She currently manages 30 HOAs in Northern Colorado and thrives to provide the best customer service to board members and homeowners. Danielle takes great pride in her work and thrives to be the best she can be. She is dedicated, hardworking, knowledgeable, eager to learn, friendly, and passionate in all she does.
